I’m Wanda, MOMtritionist and crazy busy mom of two (kiddos are ages 4 and 9).
Occasionally, I’ll slide into a funk as well (hey, it happens to the best of us!), and let me tell you, mine would go on for months (or even years) before I would attempt to fix it.
I would completely lose myself in motherhood, pack on the pounds, get sick, feel like an awful mother, wife, and friend, and had no desire for healthy eating (yes, even as a nutritionist), or cooking.
Last year, after feeling completely broken and burned out, I somehow pulled myself out of it, and started searching for answers. For clarity.
But unlike the past, I didn’t do anything extreme to “force” myself out of the rut I was in.
I discovered that using this gentle approach, allowed me to naturally break through it.
I’m happy to say that this mom is the most happy and balanced I’ve ever been.
This mom WANTS to eat healthy.
This mom WANTS to exercise
This mom WANTS to take care of herself
And this mom WANTS to take care of other moms using the exact same gentle and natural approach
What I want for you…
To fall in love with your body again
To actually enjoy healthy eating (yes, it’s possible!)
To feel (a bit more) in charge of your life again 😉
To feel like the incredible woman you are and remember the person inside again
To feel empowered, strong, and ready to conquer each day, whether you’re a full time working mom, or a stay at home mama
What I’m all about:
You can try whatever diet you like – keto, paleo, raw, juicing, fasting… and you’ll probably get results. Fast!
That being said, I’m not crazy about any diet in particular.
Why? Because the vast majority of diets do not lead to sustained weight loss. What they do instead is lead to a toxic lifelong obsession with food, weight and body dissatisfaction.
My goal is to teach you how to simplify healthy eating, how to listen to your body, how to have a healthy relationship with food, and how to love yourself again.
At the end of the day, I’m about giving the mind and body what it needs to feel good.
